KS2 Performance - 'The Wizard of Oz'

We are delighted to announce that we will be doing a Key Stage 2 performance of The Wizard of Oz, which will take place on Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd July.

This is open to all children in Years 3-6.  There are many different roles in the production, from large speaking and singing roles, to chorus parts with no individual lines to say.  Parts will be allocated after the first couple of rehearsals and definitely before Half Term.

Until May Half Term, rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays from 3.30 - 4.30pm. 

After Half Term, children will need to be available for rehearsals on both Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3.30pm – 5pm, although not everyone will be needed for every rehearsal.  We will give parents as much notice as possible as to who will be needed when.

There will also be a rehearsal for the whole cast on Saturday 29th June from 10.30am until 2.30pm.  This will be really important as it will be a chance to put the whole show together, so please put the date on your calendar and speak to Mrs Beezer as soon as possible if your child cannot attend.

If your child would like to be involved, please sign up in the school shop as soon as possible – our first rehearsal will be on Tuesday 16th April!
