KS2 Performance- The Jungle Book

We are delighted to announce that we will be doing a Key Stage 2 performance of The Jungle Book, which will take place in July 2025. Please ensure your child can commit to all of the rehearsal dates before they sign up to be in the production. Rehearsals start on Tuesday 29th April!
Rehearsals Before May Half Term: Tuesdays 3.30pm-4.30pm
After May Half Term: Tuesdays and Thursdays 3.30pm – 5pm Saturday 28th June 2025 – 10.30am-2.30pm
Whole Cast Day Rehearsal: Saturday 28th June from 10.30am until 2.30pm.
Performances: Tuesday 1st (6pm) and Wednesday 2nd July 2025 (2pm and 6pm)
For your child to take part, we ask for a nominal one-off payment of £2.
Booking Details
This is open to all children in Years 3-6. There are many different roles in the production, from large speaking and singing roles, to chorus parts with no individual lines to say. Parts will be allocated after the first couple of rehearsals and definitely before Half Term.
Until May Half Term, rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays from 3.30 - 4.30pm.
After Half Term, children will need to be available for rehearsals on both Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3.30pm – 5pm, although not everyone will be needed for every rehearsal. We will give parents as much notice as possible as to who will be needed when.
There will also be a rehearsal for the whole cast on Saturday 28th June from 10.30am until 2.30pm. This will be really important as it will be a chance to put the whole show together, so please put the date on your calendar and speak to Mrs Beezer as soon as possible if your child cannot attend.
If your child would like to be involved, please sign up in the school shop as soon as possible.
